Set in stone in the 1855 classification, the hierarchy of crus that make up the Margaux appellation has been spared any significant events. Among these, the history of Château Larruau is a particularly remarkable episode in the life of the terroir. Born from the turbulent history of a cru now shared in part between neighboring estates, Château Larruau is the fruit of a patient reconstitution. Today, endowed with a new identity, with a strong qualitative argument, it is gradually joining the closed concert of its prestigious neighbours.

Since then, the estate, somewhat enlarged, has experienced remarkable growth which has gradually placed it among the elite of the wines of the appellation.
